Winter Sunset
One hundred square miles of evergreen, maple, oak, and beech trees may be viewed from the Ritchie Ledges in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The ancient ledges form a high ridge on the eastern slope of the Cuyahoga Valley and are one of the most interesting features of the park. Occasionally, a winter sunset rich with red, pink, and orange color will cast a warm glow over the snow-clad rocks turning the ledges into an enchanting sight.
